I love your website. There is a lot of great information for bird
lovers everywhere. I especially am interested in the lesser sulphur
crested cockatoo, but am aware that as pets they are slightly
unsuitable. Great site! Keep up the work! :) :)

What a lovely web site. I love birds and feed them in my backyard every
day (I spend a small fortune buying 40kgs wild bird seed at a time).
There are at least 20 sulphur crested cockies here every day along with
rosellas, crimson wings, king parrots, rainbow lorakeets and galahs, as
well as magpies, kurrawongs, many tiny finches and two or three
varieties of pigeon. There are the usual sparrows etc and my favourite
English blackbird. The blackbird was introduced to Australia about 180
years ago in the State of Victoria. They arrived in my small town of
Bingara, northern NSW, a couple of years ago. I was SO excited when I
saw them in my backyard.
I shall visit this site again, I'm sure.

Thank you for your web site I enjoyed reading thru it. We have just
purchased a A.Grey condos. at the moment we are beening subjected to
Growling and Flying around his cage while making the most loud noise
I know he is frightened and scared, is there anything we should be
doing to overcome this other than just patience. any comments welcome.

Awesome website filled with information out of respect and love for
birds. I found it all very interesting but can you provide and
information on love birds? Obviously much of the information already
provided would apply but I'm trying to find information more specific
to their personalities and needs. Thank you for all of your effort in
your web-site.

Of interest was the excellent aesthetic nature of this site, along with
the desire to achieve better living standards/treatment for
this exquisite natural treasure. I am starting a small business with
the goal of educating the public relative to all aspects of parrots, the
destruction of their natural habitats, and the steps man can and must
take in assuring unblemished habitats around the World in which these
parrots can flourish. I intend to take my parrot companions to long
term care facilities (to enrich the parrots as well as the residents),
Hospice and hospital facilities, Sunday and secular classrooms, and
wherever a need exists. A photographic session is also an accompanying
feature. I worked 2 years @ Rainforest Cafe, training and caring for
the 8 resident parrots. I will never forget the day of the last parrot
show; it was the end of an era and innocence for both of us, and
infinitely sad. Keep doing the Good Work(s) of parrot protection and
preservation.

Love the photo of the Macaws. They are beautiful birds. I would
imagine they are a problem to handle, unless hand reared and tamed. I
do not keep birds, love watching them. Good Luck.

Very informative Web Site. I have kept a small number of birds for
quite a while now. I haven't had much luck with breeding. I do intend
to expand when I retire. I will be asking you for advice. You appear
to have many birds and varieties. Best Wishes to you. A regular
visitor from now.

pleasure also. All the best.

Hi, It is sad the culling of the birds in Australia. Surely there must
be a quicker and less painful way of culling. I feel so sad when I
read about them. Love your Web Site.

Have looked at the page, Lesser Sulphur Crested Cockatoos. They are a
beautiful bird. I am learning quite a lot from the information you
give. It is sad indeed the suffering of birds you read about.
Australia is one country who do not treat birds kindly. Look forward
to more pages. Goodbye for now.

Read the pages on the sad killings of the birds in Australia. I felt
quite sick and saddened. As a bird lover, indeed a lover of all
creatures, I find it appalling that they have to suffer in such an
inhumane way. Very good Web Site. Good Luck.
